About this branch

Our estate agency branch is located on Alexandra Parade (Dennistoun’s main shopping area) and a very short walk from Alexandra Parade train station.

The area is easily accessible thanks to the M8 motorway running parallel to Alexandra Parade. We operate in the surrounding areas such as Riddrie, Carntyne and Bridgeton.

Why choose Slater Hogg and Howison?

All our staff are highly trained and passionate about their local areas, offering you the best advice possible. When it comes to selling or letting your property, our unique marketing generates many enquiries for your property.

With a strong high street presence, strong for sale signage, prominent advertising on national property websites such as Rightmove and Zoopla, we give your property the best chance of coming to the attention of your ideal buyer or tenant.

We always place our customers first and strive to provide first-rate customer service when doing what we love: bringing people and property together.

Local information about Dennistoun

The district of Dennistoun is located in the east end of the city. It is in close proximity to the city centre and has contributed to the area’s gentrification in recent years; many of its residents are now young professionals.

Alexandra Park is the focal point of the area and features the magnificent 40-foot Walter MacFarlane Saracen Fountain, as well as a 9-hole golf course and stunning views over the city. The community is notable for its numerous local eateries, as well as the main shopping areas of Alexandra Parade and Duke Street – which is the longest street in Britain.

Dennistoun is well-connected with Alexandra Parade, Duke Street and Bellgrove train stations all situated within the quarter. The M8 motorway is located nearby and several bus routes travel into the city centre and out to the regions.
