Home to the largest Burns monument in Scotland, Kilmarnock is a melting pot of culture. The town is well-known for its large number of boutique shops and Victorian architecture which line the cobbled streets of its historic core.

Dean Castle Country Park offers woodland walks and scenic splendour for all to enjoy, with its 14th century castle a focal point. At the heart of the town sits The Dick Institute, an impressive library and museum.

Kilmarnock’s train station runs to other major locations including Glasgow, Carlisle and Ayr. The town has excellent road links with the A76 connecting to Dumfries, the A77 (which turns into the M77) linking to Glasgow, and the A71, which runs from Edinburgh to Irvine.
